Call Me Hope

Hi this is Caitlin Senne with today’s SMS Podcast. I will be talking about a book that I’ve recently read: Call Me Hope. Hope is just another ordinary girl, but her mom is a different story. Her mom, Darlene Delilah Elliot, otherwise known as D.D. is verbally abusive. She calls her stupid and she lies to the school principle. Hope is doing really well at school and she is supposed to get her mom to sign the forms for ODS (or out door school) but her mom is convinced that Hope is a bad girl and refuses to sign the forms. (TANTALIZING TIDBITS). Will Hope get to go to ODS, and will she solve the problem that tugs at her daily life, her mom, or not, to find out read this book.
